RECYCLE everything you can! Click here to see what you can recycle on campus.
ENCOURAGE your follow students, faculty, and staff to recycle -- to stop putting recyclables in the trash and to reduce waste -- to make sustainable choices. Recycle all paper, all cardboard, all plastic, all glass, and all metal.
TALK about the importance of recycling and waste reduction with roommates, peers, colleagues, and others. Discuss strategies to reduce waste such as printing on both sides of paper, reducing the amount of materials you buy or acquire, re-using items, etc.
CREATE a U-Tube video encouraging recycling and waste reduction. Check these out!
CHOOSE recycling and/or waste reduction as a topic for any of your classes ranging from art and economics to marketing, psychology, sociology, and technical writing.
PLAN a program or activity to promote recycling during the 10-week Recyclemania competition January 23 - April 2, 2011.
