Sustainability at the University of Maryland

Workshop Schedule

The May 2012 workshop schedule is still in development but it will be similar to the 2011 schedule, which is listed below.

The first day of the 2011 Chesapeake Project Workshop was hosted at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's Phillip Merrill Environmental Center, which provided an ideal setting for the first day of the experience. In addition to spectacular views of the Bay, the Merrill Center is a model for sustainable development (a LEED-Platinum certified green building) and workshop participants had the opportunity to tour the building and learn about its sustainable features. Participants also met with CBF educators to learn about the Bay and the Chesapeake bioregion.
